Our History

In The Beginning

Late December 2002, three men came together with the desire to build one of the leading customer oriented website hosting, design, and application development firms that the world had ever seen. Under the name of Webspun Solutions, they'd grown a small but dedicated client base, put together a few large projects, and over all, had a good start to a promising new business.

Unfortunately though, as we all have become accustomed to, life is messy, and sometimes things change. One of the partners believed the business should take one direction, while the other two wanted to maintain the current direction and keep things on a steady growing path. After much debating, the three partners dissolved their business relationship.

The Regrouping

The two dissenting partners still wished to provide website hosting, design, and development services, so they sat down and went over things in minute detail. They decided where they would focus, and how specific tasks would be handled. They divied up tasks according to their strengths and weaknesses, and found that they had everything taken care of.

The two partners entered back into business with each other in early 2004, vowing to always ensure the customer comes before themselves, and to care for their customers as if they were family. They had been treated poorly by several hosts in the past. They had been made to feel like numbers instead of people... that all they were was a monthly payment in the ledger. They had had support tickets deleted, sites suspended without warning, and just about any other horror you could ever hope not to experience while hosting... so they set out to do better. WebOnce Technologies was born.

The Becoming

In our first month, we had gotten enough clients to cover basic operation costs. In our first year, we are now home to more than 200 websites, and on pace to be home to over 500 by the end of the year. We have clients in many parts of the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia. We monitor our servers very closely to prevent problems, and take proactive steps in security and maintenance. We have grown from simple hosting services to offering SSL Certificates, Domain Registrations, Application Development, and even high-priority offsite backup and data retention solutions.  We are looking forward to welcoming more customers into the WebOnce family... if cutting edge technology and first class service is what you desire, WebOnce Technologies is the place for you.
